Award Winning Documentary
Washington Square Park, AKA Bughouse Square, was donated to the city of Chicago in 1842 on the condition that it would be a free speech forum. The tiny, three-acre park, located at 901 N. Clark St., has evolved in its almost 200 year history, becoming the site of soapbox speeches, the Bughouse Square debates, the world’s first pride march and more.
